Asus to Launch IMac Rival

Asus will launch its Eee Top, an all-in-one PC built into a monitor similar to the Apple iMac on Thursday at a news conference in Taipei.

Previously called the Eee Monitor, Asus has listed two models in its website. Both models come 15.9" touchscreen, 1.6GHZ Atom, 160G byte HD, 1G byte of DRAM, Wi-Fi 802.11n, a 1.3-megapixel Web cam, two 4-watt speakers and several ports and Windows XP. However the ET1603 is also equipped with an ATI HD3450 graphics card while none is specified for the ET1602.

Pricing and availability are not yet known, but the make-up of the devices suggests a low price tag.
