iRiver breakaway group mintpass has announced its first product, the mintpad. The 3.2 ounce 3.08" x 2.51" x0.60" unit is part MP4 player, part surfing device, part-chat, and part e-Post-It Note taker.
The last function is its revolutionary feature - it enables users to quickly scribble notes/drawings and wirelessly send it to other mintpad users.
The device is expected to sell at $156.
mintpad is founded by the former CEO/founder of Reigncom (iriver's parent company) and a group of ex-iriver key employees.
